Equipment Usage and Composition
The trolley-type fixed continuous sand mixer is widely used for mixing resin sand, water glass sand and other self-hardening sands, and is suitable for small and medium-sized castings in single-piece small batch production. It can be conveniently moved as a whole to the required place according to the production needs.
The system mainly consists of cart, elevator, sand storage, single arm continuous sand mixer, liquid material system, electric control system and other parts.
1. The dolly is used to support and fix the related equipment.
2. The elevator lifts the sand into the sand hopper above the sand mixer.
3. Sand storage is used to store sand for spare parts.
4. The single arm continuous sand mixer is used to mix the sand.
5. Liquid system supplies liquid to the sand mixer.
6. The electric control system controls the related equipments to ensure the reliable operation of the equipment according to the requirements.
Process Flow and Adjustment
(Sand hopper material shortage) Start the elevator, manually add sand to the elevator, start the sand mixer liquid material system according to the operation procedure of the sand mixer, and start the main motor of the sand mixer to start sand mixing and molding.
1. The elevator is equipped with a flow regulating gate to adjust the size of the gate opening to strictly control the sand flow, otherwise the elevator will be clogged and the elevator will not work properly, or even burn the motor and damage the machine parts. There is a maintenance port on the opposite side of the feeding port, when the elevator is clogged, open the maintenance cover and pull out the remaining sand manually.
2. The sand hopper is equipped with upper and lower material level meters. When the sand hopper is full of sand, the upper material level meter will act to warn the operator to stop adding sand, but the sand that has already been added to the sand hopper can continue to be mentioned in the sand storage. When the sand in the sand storage is close to empty, the lower material level meter operates to warn the operator to add sand to the sand storage, and if no sand is added within a limited time, the sand mixer will stop mixing sand automatically.
3. After the elevator has been used for some time, the drive belt and chain of the hopper will be slack, it should be checked regularly and tightened moderately, otherwise, the drive belt and chain will be damaged, and even the equipment can not work. The drive belt should be replaced in time when it is seriously damaged. Chains, bearings, etc. should be regularly inspected and filled with lubricating oil (grease) in time. The speed reducer of the elevator should be maintained according to the instructions of the speed reducer, and the lubricating oil should be checked and replaced in time.

Features and Uses
S243 fixed single-arm continuous sand mixer is widely used for mixing resin sand, water glass sand and other self-hardening sand, which is suitable for small and medium-sized castings in small batch production, and can also be equipped with other molding equipment to form a mechanized molding production line, which has the following advantages:

Main Structure and Working Principle
S243 fixed single-arm continuous sand mixer is mainly composed of the following parts: machine base, sand mixing arm, air circuit system, liquid feeding system, electric control system, sand dosing system and so on. Each part is introduced as follows:
● Machine base: supports and fixes the sand mixer, which is fixed on the foundation by the foot bolt and connected with the sand mixing arm by the slewing bearing.
● Sand mixing arm: It is the key part of sand mixing machine, which is composed of sand mixing spindle, liquid material valve, folio shell, crossbeam and head operation box.
The sand mixing spindle is rotated directionally by the main motor through the coupling with action, the spindle is equipped with feeding screw and sand mixing blade, the discharge port is the discharge reverse blade, the blades are welded with hard alloy on the sand surface, which can be adjusted in the radial range after wear, and can be easily replaced when the wear is serious.
● Air line system:
Various valves of the pneumatic system are installed in the pump valve box (in the seat), connected to each working mechanism by the pneumatic hose to complete their respective working procedures under the control of the control element.
● Liquid dosing system: the system consists of piping system, gear pumps, diaphragm pumps, dosing valves and so on.
Diaphragm pumps are used to convey curing agent. Gear pumps for conveying resin are equipped with stable and reliable speed control system for stepless speed regulation to realize different requirements of liquid material conveying volume and ratio.
● Electric control system: the sand mixer is equipped with an independent electric control cabinet, which is used to control the equipment according to the requirements of normal work.
● Sand dosing system: The sand dosing gate is installed at the lower end of the sand hopper opposite to the inlet of the sand mixer, which is specialized in dosing and controlling the sand entering the sand mixer.
Sand dosing gate consists of dosing gate and feeding cylinder. The quantitative gate is adjusted on the spot, according to the process needs to adjust the feeding amount to meet different requirements.
Program Settings
Operating Condition
The sand mixing tank folio shell should be closed in place, and the sand hopper lower level signal is a signal of material available. Liquid material has material (manual check), and check the gas source P=0.55~0.63Map.
1. Power supply: the main circuit adopts 380V 50HZ power supply. The control circuit adopts 220V.
2. The program is equipped with single-action, manual and automatic programs. Single-action is used for debugging the equipment, and manual and automatic can be selected by the user according to the need.

Quantification and Adjustment
Commission
Equipment installation is completed, the circuit is connected and check no error, the working mechanism needs to be debugging, debugging, the working state selector switch to the single-action state, sand quantitative valve closed.
(1) Open the gas source, manually open and close the solenoid valves in turn, and check whether the action of the gas circuit and the working mechanism is normal.
(2) Start the main motor, check whether the motor steering is correct (standing at the end of the motor should be clockwise direction).
(3) start the hardener pump, resin pump, check whether the motor is running normally, whether the steering is correct (the pump is labeled with a steering arrow instruction sign), liquid return pipe should be liquid outflow.
(4) Adjust the spindle, the outer edge of the blade to the inner wall of the sand mixing tank clearance ≤ 3mm, the blade shall not have card touch phenomenon.
Sand Dosing and Adjustment
Adjust the productivity of the sand mixer (2.5-3.0t/h) according to the actual needs of production. The state selector switch will be played to the single-action debugging state, manually start the sand mixer in order, sand mixer artificial timing work for a period of time, (at this time, do not add binder, curing agent), dry sand weighing, accounting for the production rate, such as inconsistency, adjust the opening of the quantitative sand gate, restart the sand mixer, and then weighing until adjusted to the required production rate.
Binder Dosing and Adjustment
Determine the amount of hardener and resin to be added according to the adjusted sand volume (i.e., production rate) by process proportioning. Start the hardener or resin pump and timing, with a container in the return pipe to catch the liquid material, after stopping the pump weigh the liquid material in the container, and the process set the amount of comparison, such as inconsistency, adjust the governor, so that the pump speed increase or decrease, restart with the weighing, until it meets the process requirements.

Security Protection
Safety of the blending arm
The operation of the sand mixer can only be carried out after the folio mixing chute is reliably closed. The sand mixing motor can only be started when the mixing chute is manually closed and the locking device is tightened.电机。
Protection of Motors
All motors are equipped with reliable protection, all the protection values have been adjusted when the equipment is shipped from the factory, the user shall not increase the current protection value arbitrarily in the process of use to avoid burning the motor.
Safety, Lubrication and Maintenance Precautions
● Maintenance of the sand mixer must cut off the power supply, cut off the compressed air, drain off the residual pressure, close the sand filling valve, and avoid accidental connection.
● After repairing or replacing the motor, it is necessary to check whether the direction of rotation is correct or not by starting the test run first.
● Curing agent and resin should be strictly separated from the tank, curing agent pump and resin pump can not be used interchangeably, curing agent container and pipeline must be acid-resistant.
● When debugging or dosing the hardener and resin, the operator must wear labor gloves and protective glasses.
● At the end of each shift, the sand mixing tank and blades must be cleaned of sand, and the lumps in the inlet of hardener and resin must be cleaned.
● sand mixer emergency stop or due to faults after the shutdown if you can not quickly remove the fault (10 minutes), should promptly open the sand mixing tank to clean up.
● Regular calibration and adjustment of blade clearance.
● Regularly calibrate and adjust the amount of sand, hardener and resin added.
● Regularly clean each pneumatic valve, once a month.
● Add lithium-based grease to the bearings at both ends of sand mixing arm and rotary support once every half a month.
● Diaphragm pump and gear pump reducer should check and replace the lubricating oil according to the instruction manual.
● The safety protection device of the equipment must be guaranteed intact at any time, and cannot be changed arbitrarily.
