Purpose of the Machine
This equipment is only used for mixing self-hardening core sand and molded sand. It can be used alone or combined with other self-hardening sand equipment in a self-hardening sand production line.
Structural Performance and Characteristics of the Machine
Sand mixer is composed of sand mixing frame, ball, rotating blade and motor.
1. Mixing Chamber
The mixing chamber is composed of a lower body and an upper hemisphere, with a sand outlet door in the lower body.
2. Rotary Blade
The rotating blade is composed of two blades symmetrically welded on the set body, which makes the sand sand produce three-dimensional vortex movement, so as to achieve uniform sand mixing.
Preparation of the Machine for Handling, Installation and Commissioning
Lifting
Lifting should be done on the lower part of the machine, lifting through the ball is not allowed.
Installation
The direction of the rotating blade is counterclockwise from the top view, and the motor wiring should not be reversed.
Preparation before test run
1. The operator should understand the structure of the machine and familiarize with the operation process.
2. Check whether the bolts of each coupling part of the machine are loose and tighten them.
3. Check whether there are tools and other sundries falling into the body of the machine and remove them in time.
Handling Precautions
1. During operation, keep hands and rods etc. out of the machine body, especially avoid approaching hands to the machine body from the sand outlet.
2. Don't mix small stones, iron chips, tools and other debris into the body.
3. Before stopping the machine, add dry sand and mix the dry sand for 30 seconds to clean the ball.
4. If there is a lot of sticky sand in the ball of the sand mixer, on the blades, sand door, etc., it should be cleaned up.
5. Check the rotating blades frequently to see if there is any significant wear and tear.
6. Check whether the sealing rubber strip on the sand door is broken, and replace it in time to avoid sand leakage.
Safe Maintenance of Machines
Replacement method of rotary vane
1. Remove the upper dome, unscrew the screw at the end of the shaft, and remove the blade from the shaft using a pulling horse.
2. When installing the rotary blade, grease the concave part of the bottom of the blade to prevent dust from entering the shaft.
3. Lubricate the bearings of the sand mixer with grease, usually once a month.
4. Check the fastening bolts on the machine frequently and tighten them immediately when the nuts are loose.
5. inspect and maintain the machine regularly, overhaul and replace the wearing parts, and overhaul the machine once every 1-2 years.
