Product Description
Descriptive
Steel plate shot blasting machine is a kind of mechanical equipment specialized in cleaning and pretreatment of steel plate surface. It blasts steel shot (or other abrasive materials) onto the surface of steel plate at high speed through the high-speed rotating shot blasting machine, in order to remove oxidized skin, rust, welding slag and other impurities, and improve the surface quality and fatigue-resistant properties of steel plate.
Main Applications
Steel plate shot blasting and cleaning machine is widely used in shipbuilding, automobile, bridge, engineering machinery, boiler manufacturing, steel structure and other industries. It is mainly used in the following scenarios:
- Pre-treatment of steel plate surface (e.g. before painting and spraying).
- Remove the oxide skin, rust, welding slag and other impurities on the surface of steel plate.
- Improve the roughness and adhesion of steel plate surface.
Working Principle
The steel plate enters the shot blasting room through the conveyor belt, and the blast machine rotates at high speed to accelerate the steel shot to the surface of the steel plate. After blasting the steel plate through the recycling system, the abrasive and impurities will be separated, the impurities into the dust removal system, after the clean steel shot re-entering the blast machine recycling
What Is The Steel Plate Shot Blasting Machine?
steel plate shot blasting machine with roller conveyor system is primarily employed for cleaning steel plates, profiles, and beams in a continuous through-feed process, making it especially suitable for integration into fully automatic production lines.
What sets this steel plate shot blaster apart from others available in the market is the angled arrangement of the shot blast wheels located on the top of the machine. This specific configuration minimizes the accumulation of abrasive on sections of longer profiles. By adopting this method, a significantly larger portion of the blasting energy is directed toward the primary task, which is the removal of rust and scale from sheet metal and profiles. This approach also helps prevent the formation of abrasive piles.
