This machine has been widely used in the foundry and forging industry, the steel crawler continuous pass-through shot blasting machine is particularly suitable for the shot blasting of medium and large parts (e.g. pipe fittings, brake pads, brake hubs, flange parts, etc.), and is especially suited to the case of mass production where the machine is combined with a production line. The workpieces to be cleaned arrive at the machine's vibrating conveyor from the customer's infeed conveyor. Subsequently, it enters the blast zone, where the blast head mounted on top of the blast chamber thoroughly and completely blasts all surfaces, while the steel tracks keep the workpiece tumbling to ensure the removal of abrasive residues from the surface. The cleaned workpieces are fed to the downfeed vibrating conveyor and then to the conveyor. Loading/unloading is done automatically without manual operation.
Working Principle
The Pass Through Shot Blast Cleaning Machine treats the surface of the workpiece prior to blasting by means of a blast beam. After the machine is started, the workpiece is placed on a conveyor belt and transported to the shot blasting room. The wheel throws the projectile at high speed, forming a fan-shaped beam that strikes the surface of the workpiece uniformly, so as to achieve the purpose of cleaning and strengthening. The thrown shot and sand particles are sent to the elevator through the screw conveyor, and then mentioned by the elevator to be separated in the separator.
Application scenario
Crawler pass-through type shot blasting machine is widely used in casting, forging, heat treatment, welding and other industries to remove oxidized skin and rust from workpieces. It can also be used for the overall strengthening and repair of parts and equipment, applicable to a variety of cast iron parts, steel parts, castings and forgings, steel structure parts of the efficient descaling and local strengthening.
